I watched the last Merlin episode yesterday. I’m over my shock and denial right now and am in the process of grieving.
Here’s a last tribute, painted from an old fanart of this fic that turned out to be strangely prescient. I’m not ashamed to say I had to step away from this a couple of times just to get some air. Merlin was the first multi-season show I ever followed from beginning to end, and though sometimes life would get in the way, or I would lose interest due to questionable plot choices, over the years I always came back for these two, and for the amazing fandom. Reading fics and giggling over Colin and Bradley’s antics got me through some tough times, and I’m forever grateful for that. I’m really going to miss this show. ;_;

“That rounsey may be the most hideous horse I’ve ever seen,” said Ser Hyle of Podrick’s mount. “I am surprised that you’re not riding it, my lady. Do you plan to thank me for my help?”
What they mean
What I think
I think of both, and also of this Merlin here which was the first I knew (well no actually the first Merlin I knew was the one from Disney)

Like I said in the tag of the previous post, as I’ve finished catching up with Merlin, I need to write something. To take it off my mind.
This story is a very bad excuse to put down my greatest fantasy about Merlin’s characters : a four-way with Arthur, Merlin, Gwaine and Lancelot. I’m very fond of Merlin-Gwaine, I also like Merlin-Lancelot, both more than I like Merlin-Arthur but still, I like this ship too. I can’t make up my mind.
That’s why it needs to be written. Soon.
